We have several exciting events we hold every year for our members.

Little Stars Competition
This in-house event is open to all JuniorGym members.  All members are encouraged to take part but is not compulsory.  Competitors are judged on Floor and Vault and medals are awarded for 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place in each of the age categories.  All gymnasts taking part receive a Little Stars certificate.  The event is a wonderful way for young members to build confidence and show off to family and friends what they have learnt in gymnastics.

Valdez Gymnastics Annual Intermediate Club Championships
This competition is for gymnasts who train between two and four hours per week.  The gymnasts compete on Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor.   Medals are awarded for 1^st,2^nd and 3^rd place in each of the apparatus and All Around.  Cups are awarded for the All Around Valdez Junior and Senior Champion.

Valdez Gymnastics Annual Club Championships
This competition of twenty years standing is for team gymnasts who take part in Women`s Artistic gymnastics.  Approximately 35 gymnasts take part and gymnasts typically train between 8 and 16 hours per week.  Gymnasts compete in three categories; Minor, Junior and Senior.  The events are Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor with 1^st,2^nd and 3^rd places being awarded in each event.  Cups are awarded for Minor, Junior and Senior Valdez Champion.  The winners of these Club Championships have the title of Valdez Club Champions of the Year.

As well as the Champion Cups other perpetual cups and shields are awarded for the following;

• Endeavour
• Valdez Shield
• Spirit of Valdez
• Artistry
• Rachael Murdock Cup for Beam
• Gymnast of the Year

Valdez Annual Christmas Disco
We hold discos every Christmas for all members P1 – P3 and P4 upwards.  This is organised by our Fundraising Parents Committee.  Professional DJ, party games, lots of dancing and a very special guest arrives to give out some goodies!
